Homer

“In the tenth year of the Trojan War, Achilles, the greatest of the Greek warriors, quarrels with King Agamemnon and withdraws from the fighting — until the death of his dearest friend drives him back into battle, against Hector, the defender of Troy.”

“After ten years of war and ten more of wandering, Odysseus fights his way home to a wife, a son and a house overrun by suitors.”
