The Oresteia
“Three plays of the curse on the house of Atreus: King Agamemnon comes home from Troy and is murdered by his wife Clytemnestra; their son Orestes avenges him by killing his mother, and is pursued by the Furies; and the goddess Athena founds the first court of law in Athens to judge him.”
